I've decided to do my video installation on numing pain or sadness. Some people when their stressed or in pain they result to getting high and that's what I wanted to portray my video on. The way I want to convey the video is by using an electronic shisha pen, I wanted to use this prop because it would make the video look intresting and create that eery vibe that I want to come across in my video, throughout the video it will be used by 2 models a boy and girl who both will be portraying sadness as they smoke this substance.
I want the video to be simple and just focus on them smoking it and showing their facial expressions so my video will be set in the TV studio at City of Westminster college. I want my video to be dark and mystical but with some light colours being used so I will use the Gel Lighting as a from of colour with each scene they will have different colouring like red, purple, blue, yellow and green. The reason why I say with "some" light colouring because when you spoke and your trying to numb your pain, you wanna be free from your pain because it makes them feel better and as if there on cloud 9 and not giving a care in the world, a feel of freedom. I wanted to use 2 models to get two different perspectives and emotions from a male and female. I wanted to use the gel lighting to reflect back on the smoke so whatever gel lighting im using that will be the colour of the smoke.
