Light Painting allows you to create different creative effects, where the light is only shown in different shapes and sizes and whatever outline you choose to draw is what reflects back on the camera. To be able all lights have to be switched off so that you can get capture the light using a light torch and depending on how you want it to come out you have to stand in a certain poistion to achieve what you want.
